The boys had not returned when Jacinta heard a car approaching along the track. She went out to greet Grace who, stepping out of her car looked radiantly lovely.
"A woman in love and anticipating the delights to come," Jacinta thought. They embraced and Grace said, "Thank you for inviting me, darling, I'm sure I'm in for a lovely time."
